New features include rechargeable and replaceable batteries. Another new feature is that the wireless mouse now also has AES encryption - not just the keyboard.
THE CHARGING CONCEPT - FOR LONG-LASTING USE
The computer mouse and keyboard are rechargeable - even while you continue to work undisturbed. The USB-C cable and the high-quality NiMH batteries (GP ReCyko+) are included in delivery. There are no permanently installed lithium cells in this desktop set. The NiMH batteries used here can be easily replaced if necessary. This is practical and environmentally friendly at the same time.
SUSTAINABILITY & ERGONOMICS - A GOOD INVESTMENT
The keyboard has been awarded the oldest of all European environmental protection seals, the "Blue Angel". This is the only legally regulated test mark for product safety in Europe. The desktop set bears the "Safety Tested" GS seal, which means it complies with all relevant European directives and regulations on safety and ergonomics.
In addition, the packaging is also completely plastic-free, which is a positve step towards ecological sustainability.
CHERRY SX SCISSOR TECHNOLOGY - SUPER-QUIET & PRECISE
As with all members of the STREAM family, the keyboard of the CHERRY STREAM DESKTOP RECHARGE is equipped with the in-house SX scissor technology.
Not only does it have a clearly defined and crisp pressure point, it's also super-quiet, similiar to the flatter design you're used to from your laptop keyboard. Matching the whisper-quiet keystroke of the keyboard, the mouse inspires with almost inaudible mouse buttons.
FLEXIBILITY & OPERATION
The keyboard has 10 additional keys: Windows Lock, Browser, Mail, Calculator and 6 keys to controll volume and multimedia applications. Two thumb buttons on the mouse are separated by a notch in the housing to prevent accidental actuation. The DPI switch on the top of the mouse allows switching between three different resolution levels (1000 dpi / 1600 dpi / 2400 dpi). A further maximum of flexibility is achieved with the optionally usable CHERRY KEYS software. PERFORMANCE & STABILITY - CHERRY QUALITY
The CHERRY keyboard benefits from the advantages of an integrated metal plate and non-slip rubber feet. This ensures that it sits securely and stably on the table at all times. The mouse nestles comfortably in the hand and and combines optimum weight and perfect gliding performance. The set is equipped with AES-128 (Advanced Encryption Standard). With this 128-bit CCM encryption, keystrokes and mouse movements are encrypted before transmission and thus ensure more data security.
