Pleasant Prairie, WI – The former CHERRY Computer Input Devices (CID) business unit of ZF Electronic Systems has been reorganized and launched as a separate company. The new company name is Cherry Americas, LLC, and it is headquartered in Pleasant Prairie, WI.
The new independent company has been established to ensure that CHERRY customers continue to receive quick response and service, now and in the future. While the CID business unit has been known for its strong customer service capabilities, the company reorganization will facilitate the ease of doing business with Cherry Americas, LLC, and help the company reach its “simple perfection” aspiration.
This new independence represents huge opportunities for Cherry Americas, LLC, especially in the areas of speed and innovation. “Our corporate culture will rediscover the entrepreneurial spirit of a midsized company, and our staff will become like partners in the business,” states Phillip Kirsch, General Manager of Cherry Americas, LLC.

The company is committed to continuing the values and customer benefits the CHERRY brand embodies.
